Quiz Picture 5.11 - Matching the first and second stories:
Part of what you see in this picture is actually a good building practice. If you want to change the look of the wood between levels, you make the change in a corner where it’s not quite so obvious. The way they did the corners also is good in that it matches the type of joint you have in the real log walls.
