• Regional Organization: Strongwood has a regional team of experts used to building log homes in the south. They know the issues and how to resolve them. They have experience and they have one goal and that is to work for you.
• Local Dealership: Because of an increased demand for quality Strongwood Log Homes in the southeastern United States, the parent corporation has opened a new dealership that covers eastern Alabama and a number of counties in western Georgia. That dealership is called, Alabama Strongwood Log Homes, L.L.C. It is headed by Brian McGee, an ex-US Army Officer, a teacher, environmentalist, and a housing developer. He has lived and worked in the United states, the Middle East, Panama, Japan and England. He is knowledgeable, personable and ready to help make your dreams a reality. As this web site was being prepared, the web designer asked him to give his reasons for choosing to represent Strongwood Log Homes. He replied, "I have always loved log homes and so I decided to help share that love with others. I began by compared log home companies looking at what they offered. The reason I looked at what they offered home owners relative to options of design; and what they did to solve problems that log homes have historically battled such as shrinkage, air leakage, dripping sap, mold and mildew. The way Strongwood tackled these issues did not produce the cheapest log, but it solved the problems and have given its customers what they need and deserve at a good price."
